SMN-F filter unit

The SMN-F filters has the size of two LMS elements

 

 

the SMN-F unit filtering area is around 1mm2.

These filters can cushion lamination press screw vibrations, also disposing row material particles. They would therefore fixed to the top edge of LMS static mixers.

AN INNOVATIVE SOLUTION FOR INJECTION PRINTING: LMS MIXING DEVICES WITH FILTERING UNIT

These mixers, together with filtering devices are the best solution available on the market..

The system:

  • Has no moving parts (no maintenance needed)
  • High mechanical resistance
  • Improves mixing procedure
  • Allows printing at a constant viscosity, even with regrind materials
  • Guarantees an uniform flow within the printing system collector
  • The SMN-F filter could be assembled before or after the mixing devices, depending on the quantity of material residual particles.

IMPORTANT: When processing materials or polymers containing glass fibres or inorganic charges, the mixers and filters have to be specialy nitrified up to 3000 Vickers in order to impede a rapid wear of the components.

In nozzle assembling, please consider a +0.1/+0.2 margin on total length of the interior mixers and 0.06 mm on external diameter
